Busy summer 2025 for warbler crew

Our 2025 warbler crew including MSc student Nathanya Goudreau, honours student Danae Niflis, FSWEP summer technician Jessica Liddell, contract bander Lauriane Nault and of course the Birds and Trees veteran superstar research technician Ana Morales had a busy second summer of the project. This included working on resighting some of the 44 tagged Yellow and Chestnut-sided Warblers that were tagged with geolocators tags in the summer of 2024 as well as tagging a fresh set of birds in 2025! Mosquitoes, hot weather, early mornings and tricky birds couldn’t keep this field crew down.
