Congratulations to Linda - winner of the McGill 3 Minute Thesis Competition

In the University-wide 3MT/MT180 competition, graduate students have the chance to showcase their leading-edge research before a live audience. With only three minutes and a single slide, students must engage their audience and convey the complexities of their work to a diverse, non-expert audience. Birds & Trees member Linda Nong was a finalist along with 13 of her peers at McGill University to present her thesis - a mix of research from friction and earthquakes, new medical techniques, music and culture, and of course urban forests and birds! You can watch all this and more here, and don’t miss the end to watch Linda win the competition!! Congrats Linda! Looking forward to cheering her on in the eastern finals.
